More About the Sheraton Hotel in Taipei
The Taipei Sheraton Hotel offers a “Diplomatic Suite” for those making visits to the President’s office or other such bureaucratic entities.
It’s also very close to Shandao Temple (and the MRT station of the same name), giving you an easy “in” to Taipei attractions. The blue MRT line where Shandao Temple lies is highly convenient for getting to other parts of the city. The Taipei Sheraton Hotel is also not far from Taipei Main Station, making trips to other parts of Taiwan easy. Other sights are close by, such as Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.
The staff is helpful, and like many in the city is multilingual. Not having free internet in the rooms is a bit backward, so if you plan on using it tack on an extra NT$480 to your base room fee.
Perhaps of little consequence, but worth mentioning is that the Taipei Sheraton Hotel makes an at least nominal attempt at environmental practices. No Styrofoam is used, all lights are high-efficiency, smart irrigation is practiced and so on. After all, there are worse reasons to pick a hotel than earth-friendliness.
Visit HotelsCombined.com now to check current room rates and book your stay at the Taipei Sheraton Hotel. Hotels Combined has a very reliable hotel booking system and I’ve used their website for years. From there, you’ll also be able to find tons of other quality hotels in Taipei and Taiwan.
