More About the East Dragon Hotel in Taipei

The East Dragon isn’t the flashiest place around, but the low price and good service give you more than enough reason to consider a stay. The rooms are cozy, clean and large enough for the price you’re paying. In short, you’ll be satisfied if you’re looking for a no-frills stay. “East Dragon” is also an awesome name.

Location is another big upside of the East Dragon. It’s just a few minutes’ walk away from the Ximen MRT station, and a few more minutes to Taipei Main Station. If you’re looking to travel to other parts of Taiwan, being near the Main Station is a huge plus.

Along the same lines, the East Dragon is right in the Ximen Shopping District with loads of shopping for clothes, accessories, knickknacks and of course food. Still, the hotel should be far enough from the teenage chaos of Ximen that you can get a good night’s sleep.

Local attractions include, other than Ximending, the 228 Peace Park and the Presidential Office Building. Both are recommended spots for those interested in a bit of Taipei history.

Rooms have free Wifi and there is complimentary breakfast, but other than that the services are pretty sparse. Luckily, though, because of the location, you’ll be surrounded by enough action that you’ll not be want for things to do.

Check room availability and make a reservation at the East Dragon Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan.
