One of the main reasons why Taiwan has become such a favored destination to work as an English teacher is the extremely low cost of living. Salaries are also quite high.
Where to find employment in Taiwan?
You can find teaching employment in Taiwan at kindergartens, buxibans (private afternoon schools), public elementary and high schools as well as universities and colleges. Many teachers also offer private lessons at night. Private classes are usually done at cafes or right at students' homes.
Which cities have the most work for foreigners in Taiwan?
