Driving Taiwan's Central Cross Island Highway

We rented a car in Taizhong and drove the Central Cross Island Highway in 2005 and the road was in a very good condition. There were many cars on the road though.

We crossed the high pass and drove Taroko (Tarroko) gorge. The tour went very well.

I would recommend this road to all travelers who plan to head to Taiwan. It's really special experience.
